Dorm Life: A Look Inside

Hello readers!! It has been a while since I have written a blog post. To be honest it's sad!! I have missed spilling out my thoughts and bringing new content out. I have missed creating new looks for you to be inspired by. I've settled in pretty well here at Young Harris, the college I am attending, and I love it!! Hopefully I will be able to bring NEW stuff soon!! I also have some exciting news to share!! I've been accepted into the College Fashionista Style Guru Gang. This is a new and exciting adventure I can't wait to journey through. 

I wanted to show you guys my dorm in this blog post. I have been super happy about how it turned out. I think when I come home this next weekend I will be bringing some new things to hang on my walls and other things to make it more me!! So here is a little look inside my dorm, welcome MTV to my crib...

This is the top half of my desk. I have two cacti and their names are "Peter" and "Judah". I also need to get a picture to put in the cool frame I was gifted by my friend Grace. I loved the fairy lights with the golden cactus in the back. I also picked up the cool dreamer sign at TJMaxx. It says, "Deliciously Delusional. Frivolous and fancy free Wildly whimsical." I think that describes me perfectly. 

This is my closet! I added another rack to hang up more items. I will definitely be going thrift shopping when I come home next weekend. The closet Goodwill here is 60 miles away!! You can also see my coffee mugs on the right! I basically live on coffee and water. There is also a three tiered drawer which holds my t-shirts and more casual clothes like leggings and shorts. 

This is where the magic happens! I have this cool faux cow rug to add a little bit of me at the desk! The cool vintage purse hanging on the side of the chair is actually a cowboy boot. My mom picked it up at a thrift shop for me and I love it so much! I have my computer covered in stickers of some of my favorite things!!

Here is where I spend most of my time, by the coffee machine. My pal "H" is soaking up some sun rays in his cute little clay pot. 

This is probably my favorite piece on my wall! I found this cute vintage frame at a mercantile store near my college! The plant is from my 18th birthday party last year. I tied a little ribbon around it to make it more unique.

The last two pictures feature the rest of my gallery wall. I actually picked up this super cool tapestry from my grandparents house! I hope to add some more pieces on this wall and above my desk. Hope you guys have a great rest of the weekend!!
