Wearable Trends for the Spring/Summer season
Hello! It's been a long time since I sat down and wrote a blog post. Life has been hectic for me these past few weeks. I`m looking forward to posting every week & hopefully that will become a habit. This post is about wearable trends for the everyday person. I love adding my twist on things so just make it your own. I will be showing you pictures and ideas of what I have. So continue reading and add some of your flair to these spring/summer trends.
Patchwork has been a huge staple on the NYFW runway for the spring/summer collections of 2016. From patchwork denim to patterned patchwork. The first designer is Diane Von Furstenberg. She is best known for her creation of the iconic wrap dress. DVF has an incredible creative mind. I loved her collection for the spring '16. She incorporated patchwork into dresses. Along with her collection Anna Sui followed suit. This designer is one of the most iconic people in the fashion world. She has created imaginative looks and beautiful designs. Her collection played with the patchwork design as well. These two items below are some pieces from my own wardrobe. They are both dresses, the first is a tank dress & the second is a maxi dress that I found at Goodwill. You might even have items like these in your closets.

The next trend from the NYFW 2016 was lace. I love lace and how delicate it looks in outfits. You can edge it up or it can be the perfect touch to a feminine look. Two designers that aced this trend were Ryan Roche and Givenchy. Ryan Roche first started designing children's clothing but moved to women's apparel. Her collection this year was lace and nude colors. Givenchy is a high-end fashion brand. I'm a huge fan of the beautiful designs this fashion house brings to the table. This collection displayed both feminine and edgy looks with lace. The first picture is one of my favorites. I got this at Goodwill. It's a button-up lace dress with pockets. The second item pictured is a new addition to my closet. I bought this tank swing top at Target. I fell in love with the high neck and the color.
