Adventures Out Southwest: Texas Edition
Hello readers!! I hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday! I just came back from my trip to Texas. I had such a wonderful time and cannot wait to go back! Here's a little post on what I did during my trip.
I took my first ever plane ride with both of my sisters Thursday morning at 6:15 a.m. due to my older sister graduating from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas. The plane ride was definitely an experience! After landing at Dallas Love Field we drove to Waxahachie to visit SAGU. The next day we ventured back to Dallas Love Field to meet my parents who drove all the way from Georgia!! Friday afternoon we attended Madison's commencement ceremony which was held at the University. Saturday morning we took a trip to Waco, Texas to see the famous Magnolia Market created by Chip and Joanna Gaines. Magnolia Market was absolutely beautiful! The city of Waco has to be one of my favorites. We had lunch at Cafe Cappuccino located in the city. I would definitely recommend eating there! After that we walked around and ventured into some really cool shops. Then we drove to Arlington to see the AT&T stadium along with the Texas Rangers stadium per request from my brother. We then stopped at little antique shops in Forney, Texas. After that we started our trek home to Georgia, driving through Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama all in one night.
I wanted to keep my outfit simple so I opted for my favorite skinny jeans from Old Navy, cream sweater borrowed from my sister, gray tank top layered underneath, and black oxfords. I decided to jump on the baker's boy hat trend. I love finding unique things in my mom's closet and the hat was one of them. It was chilly in Texas while we were visiting so it was a good asset in this outfit to keep me warm.
What I'm Wearing:
Shirt: Ross/Target
Jeans: Old Navy
Shoes: Target
Hat: Grandmother's/Unknown
