July Style Feature: Montana Owens
Hello readers!!! Hope you are all doing fantastic and enjoying your summer! I have had a great June and look forward to an even better July. I have decided to start a series on Patchwork Gypsy called "Style Feature". It will consist of posts featuring family and friends who have super cool style and hopefully you will gain some inspiration while reading them!
The first ever Style Feature goes out to my little sister Montana Owens. When she was younger she really adopted the athletic style and rocked it but now she seems to be becoming her own little fashionista. I usually give her advice when she needs guidance on what to wear, but she has cultivated a great eye of what she can rock.
Here is a little look on who this little fashionista is:
Montana gets inspiration from Pinterest, Instagram, and even television. Her style icons include: the beautiful blogger Jamie Kidd, Pretty Little Fawn also known as Courtney Halverson, Lucy Hale, Genevieve Padalecki, Danneel Ackles, and her two older sisters. Her favorite item in her closet is her black booties from Goodwill. She loves to thrift shop and hang out with her friends.
"I paired my simple white tee with a gray lace silky tank top. For my bottoms I chose these vintage striped chinos. I think the color scheme went well together! For my shoes I chose these black and white striped platform sneakers. I wanted to add a unique touch to the overall outfit. My jewelry consisted of the same color scheme with my tassel cream earrings, a neutral statement necklace, and a simple black bracelet."
"For my second outfit I wanted to show my girly side. I paired this cute coral dress with a blue tee I got from my visit to Savannah, GA. I wanted to add a little heel to this outfit, so I paired these cute brown booties to tie off the look! My jewelry consisted of mulit-colored hoop earrings and three gold necklaces layered. "
