That was just a little recap of how my vacation went! I have never been to South Carolina. It was very beautiful and had tons of things to offer. We also visited Savannah which was about an hour away. I love Savannah so much. It's incredible how much history and beauty that is in the Garden City. We also visited Charleston & I instantly fell in love. The city market is a place to visit if you ever decide to go to Charleston. There is so much history in that town as well. I really loved the St. Michael's Cemetery that was located right behind the cathedral. Sounds odd but I loved seeing all the old tombstones and the people that were buried there. I'm a bit of a history nerd and I got to see tons of national heroes buried there. Coligny Plaza was located on the beach and featured tons of cute touristy shops and ice cream parlors. This vacation was one for the books.
My outfits that are sprawled out throughout this blog are easily some of my favorite combinations. I felt like centering my outfits around shorts was the best option for walking around. In my first outfit I wanted to truly embrace the islander look. My accessories are a white wrap around necklace that I can wear many different ways. Along with these cute rope sandals that were thrifted. My second outfit has a boho vibe. The high waisted bermuda style shorts are extremely cute. I paired it with a printed short sleeve top and a fringe vest. I love my necklace. It extends the earthy look. My third outfit also embraced the islander look. I thrifted the shirt. I love the lightouse and palm tree print. I paired it with some DIY shorts. To get the fraying I threw them in the wash. The next outfit is what I wore in Charleston. I wanted a classic outfit for this uptown city. I wore my favorite shorts that are Calvin Klein. I paired it with a boyfriend button up and a bandanna with a cute paisley print. My last outfit is what I wore to the cool Harbour Town. I paired it with the bermuda shorts and a lace tank with my kimono. I bought these cute booties at a Goodwill in Bluffton. They were extremely comfortable and adorable. I layered my favorite silver necklaces. Layering jewelry is always ok. I hope you guys enjoyed my post. I hope you all have a great week!!!!
